ABOUT ME
Oliver Ward, Managing Lawyer
Much of my adult life has been defined by the alphabet soup that is the U.S. immigration system. Originally from the UK, my own journey navigating the complexities and frustrations of this system for so long has given me a powerful motivation to help others hoping to pursue their own American Dream.
I first came to the United States as a research intern (on a J-1 visa) in 2010, before returning in 2014 to pursue graduate studies, first in American politics and then in law (F-1 visas). After that, I went back to the UK for a few years, before moving to the U.S. permanently in 2025 with my wife, Karen (through a CR-1 visa). I now bring this first-hand knowledge of the immigration system to my law practice.
As an immigration lawyer, I have extensive experience helping talented individuals secure O-1A, O-1B, and EB-1A visas, as well as E-1, E-2, and L-1 visas for entrepreneurs and businesses, and marriage-based green cards and K-1 fiancé visas for couples. I've also served on two different committees for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
I live in Washington, DC, where I enjoy trying out new restaurants, playing football (or perhaps I should say "soccer"), and golfing (badly). I also run transatlanticists, a community for Brits in the U.S.
