Which visa categories are affected?
The updated fee structure will impact a broad range of visa categories, including many nonimmigrant visa categories and employment-based immigrant visa petitions. What is Premium Processing?
For those who may not be familiar with Premium Processing, it is a service offered by the USCIS for select immigration applications. Applicants have the option to pay an additional fee in exchange for expedited processing of their case. This service can significantly reduce the waiting time for a decision on their application.
When will the fee increase come into effect?
February 26, 2024. It is advisable to stay updated with any further announcements or changes from the USCIS regarding this matter.
